Quantum Systems

Quantum Systems is a German defense-technology company founded in 2015 in Gilching (near Munich) by Florian Seibel and Tobias Kloss. It builds AI-powered electric VTOL reconnaissance drones — such as the Vector and Reliant — and the accompanying software for real-time aerial intelligence, high-precision mapping and situational awareness. Its systems are widely deployed by NATO-aligned armed forces, including in Ukraine. One of Europe's leading defense-tech scale-ups, Quantum Systems reached a valuation around $3.5B in late 2025 and has raised well over $600M from investors including Balderton Capital, HV Capital and Porsche SE.
