Marvel Fusion

Marvel Fusion is a German deep-tech company founded in 2019 in Munich, developing laser-driven inertial confinement fusion using petawatt-class lasers and nanostructured fuel targets to deliver safe, clean, scalable fusion energy. It is building a demonstration facility in partnership with Colorado State University. Founded by Moritz von der Linden, Georg Korn, Pasha Shabalin and Karl-Georg Schlesinger, Marvel Fusion has raised more than €385M from investors including Earlybird, Bayern Kapital, Tengelmann Ventures, EQT Ventures, Siemens Energy Ventures and the EIC Fund.
