About
Dawn Aerospace is a space-transportation company founded in 2017, operating a dual-headquarter model from Delft (Netherlands) and Christchurch (New Zealand). It builds non-toxic (green) in-space propulsion systems for satellites and the Mk-II Aurora, a rapidly reusable uncrewed suborbital spaceplane that takes off from conventional runways and broke the sound barrier in November 2024. Founded by Stefan Powell, James Powell, Jeroen Wink, Tobias Knop and Robert Werner, the company is scaling both its propulsion business and its reusable launch program.
