Clone Robotics

Clone Robotics is a robotics company founded in 2021, headquartered in Wrocław, Poland (with US operations), by Dhanush Radhakrishnan (CEO) and Łukasz Koźlik (CTO). It develops humanoid androids actuated by water-driven artificial Myofiber muscles based on the McKibben design, aiming to replicate human musculoskeletal motion. Its Protoclone prototype features 200+ degrees of freedom, around 1,000 artificial muscles and 500 sensors, and the company is developing Clone Alpha, a full synthetic human. Clone has raised over $7M from angel investors including Y Combinator co-founder Trevor Blackwell.
